How To Keep Your Sex Doll in Perfect Condition
One of the top questions we often get from our customers is how to keep their sex dolls in the perfect condition. There are many ways to keep a doll in workable condition, but the best way is:
- Regular skin maintenance
- Keeping the doll standing or lying down
- Being careful when washing the doll
- Apply baby powder
Skin Maintenance
The simulated skin of our dolls uses imported polymer human body silica gel as raw material, which is non-toxic and tasteless. When the silicone product is placed for a long time, oil leakage will appear on the surface. This is because silicone contains silicone oil, which is a normal phenomenon. Please wipe it gently with a towel. Moreover, when the doll is used and placed, the surface will adhere to dust and stains.
To maintain the good performance of the silicone or TPE skin as well as the surface of the silicone it is recommended to wipe the doll using a towel at least once a month even if you don’t use it. The maintenance interval varies depending on the conditions of use and the environment in which it is stored, usually once a month.
Use a sponge or towel to gently wipe the surface of the doll with warm water. If the surface of the silicone is sticky, please wipe it with soapy water several times. Do not use force when wiping the skin. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents when wiping the surface of silicone, including strong acids, strong alkaline solutions, strong disinfectants or detergents. It can be cleaned with soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, shower gel or a mild detergent. After the surface is dry, apply a scorpion powder or talcum powder on the surface of the skin. When you are powdering, wear a mask to avoid inhaling dust.
Joint Maintenance
When the doll's joints remain curved or bent for a long time, wrinkles may appear on the surface because of improper placement and long-term stress on the surface.
For example, after sitting in a chair for a long time, the belly of the doll may press out some horizontal stretch marks. Maintaining a long period of abnormality will also greatly increase the risk of breakage of the sponge layer. Please restore the doll to the factory position after use, reducing the stress on each joint.
The ideal factory position is lying down on the back with the leg and arms full extended or standing up with the leg and arms fully extended. You can use the picture as reference:
Make-Up Paint Maintenance
When the doll is made in the factory, her make-up is applied using a silicone or TPE friendly paint. This paint will usually wear off with time (years) but would never completely disappear if cleaned gently. Do not use force to wipe, especially the makeup and eyebrow/eyelashes. Please pay attention to the wiping force when using and cleaning. If the force is too much, the eyebrows may fall off or fade. Once it's faded, it's hard to fix. General cosmetics can be applied to a doll’s face, such as lipstick and blush, but please do not use overly thick greasy makeup for application on the face, which may make it very difficult to clean. Do not apply force when removing makeup. Use soapy water or makeup remover and gently wipe.
Cleaning
After you’ve cleaned the skin of your doll using our recommended products from the skin maintenance paragraph, give the doll a whole-body powder. You can use ordinary baby powder. The purpose is to remove the oils and the dirt from the surface of the skin. After that:
- Rinse the power to remove the oils and dirt by apply a wet towel to the surface of the skin
- Once the doll is dry reapply another powder as a protective layer
- When storing, keep the body dry and clean
Having a doll does require some patience and care. It is a very expensive investment and you want it to last a long time. If you use these methods outlined in our article, you will be able to extend the life of your doll.
